The SEASIDE Retreat

Scarborough, 24th -27th June 2022

YOU could be here in

Join us for a sacred soul sanctuary in sunny Scarborough (get that sunshine intention set wink), Friday 24th June – Monday 27th June 2022.

Check in 3pm Friday, Check out 10am Monday.

As this will be summer time, in a seaside location, it’s only natural that people will want to explore and make this weekend their own, with plenty of free time.

We have workshops planned, so there is time for laughter, connection, reflection and nurturing, but then you can also choose what you want to do, alone, or together.. what will make YOUR soul sing?

Maybe you know you need some time for yourself before the children break up for 6 weeks?

Maybe you are up for some adventure?

There is plenty to do in and around Scarborough, and plenty of space in our home for the weekend, too.

Set over five floors, there are various spaces for eating, gathering, cooking and just ‘being’.

There is free on-site parking for 6 cars.  If possible, we can arrange car shares for travel where people are travelling from the same area.

The address is 69 Queens Parade, Northstead, Scarborough, YO12 7HT

What 3 Words: venue.roses.moon

How great is that?

Scarborough has a train station and buses regularly travel to the seaside town.

What's Included?

Accommodation, all workshops, Friday nights pizzas, a simple self-serve breakfast of cereal/oats, organic eggs and breads.  Tea/herbal tea/instant coffee with semi-skimmed and oat milk will always be available.

You will be sharing a twin room, and each room has a TV, DVD player, kettle and fridge, so feel free to bring your own food along, too.

There is a kitchen should you wish to create your own meals, perhaps you could eat al-fresco on the raised decked patio? Or why not leave cooking behind, order a takeaway in, or treat yourself to a meal at one of the many restaurants?

Frequently Asked Questions/Concerns

“I don’t know anyone who would come with me – I’m worried I will feel like an outsider.”

It’s perfectly natural to feel a bit wobbly about this, but I assure you, those who return to these retreats do so because the environment created is so welcoming and nurturing, you fit right in so much that you can’t help but be anything but your authentic self.

You will be sharing a twin bedroom with only one other person, and there is plenty of space for any alone time should you feel all ‘peopled out’.

“I am worried about travelling by myself”

Get in touch! Lets see if we can work out a way around that..

“Are there any payment options?”

Yes, up until the 22nd May 2022, you can pay 2 monthly instalments of £150. One payment is £297. Please note there is £100 non refundable deposit, should you need to cancel up to one week before, after that, full payment is retained, no matter the reason, as I will likely be unable to fill that space at such short notice. You may want to consider taking out suitable travel insurance if this is a concern for you.

“I have specific dietary or other requirements, am I still welcome?”

Of course, if I can accommodate you, I will! If you’re really concerned about dietary needs, you can always bring your own breakfast and milk, although no discount or refund can be offered for this. Please get in touch to discuss any concerns at all.

“Do I have to participate in the workshops? What will be required of me?”

As with anything in life, you get out what you put in.  The Friday night workshop includes introductions and expectations, and it’s where you will meet your tribe. However, you do not have to share anything you don’t want to share.  The Saturday and Sunday workshops, and the Sunday night healing are optional, but highly recommended to get the most out of your weekend, and really embrace the ‘soul sanctuary’ experience.

Often, gifting ourselves a couple of hours of dedicated reflection and creation time is extremely beneficial to our lives following the weekend.

“Am I allowed to drink alcohol?”

Look, you’re an adult. You can do what you like! However, this isn’t a rowdy weekend, and drunken behaviour that spoils time for anyone else won’t be tolerated.  I respect that you may want a glass or two of wine, but also know you’ll respect that some people do not drink alcohol and would prefer a quieter time.  The beauty is, there are enough spaces and snugs to accommodate everyone.

Scarborough is a stunning seaside town with beaches, parks, a bustling harbour, a fair, shops, open air theatre, and plenty of history to explore.

Take a bus or drive to nearby Whitby, buy some Whitby jet, explore the abbey, take in the views, go for a boat trip, or sit and watch the world go by.

Go Ape! at Dalby Forest is 40 minutes drive away for those who like a bit of adrenaline in their adventure.

Zip wire? Forest segway? Tree top adventures?

Why not treat yourself in a cafe with a view, a picnic, or visit a restaurant, and nourish your mind, body and soul – get that relaxed holiday vibe going?
